Cycle Classic Kids Holiday Programme

Tuesday 24 January 2017

Kids get on your bike this summer and join us on our biketastic holiday programme!

On Tuesday 24 January grab an opportunity to learn BMX with the FreestyleLifestyle BMX team and watch some of the world’s best road cyclists race through Martinborough Square in Stage Three of the New Zealand Cycle Classic.

The FreestyleLifestyle BMX team of internationally competitive riders will be showing off their skills by performing high level stunts including backflips, 360 spins and superman combinations over a portable ramp.

They are well-known as NZ's best BMX display, performing at major events such as Big Boys Toys, D1NZ drifting, NZ Tattoo & Art Festival and Wheels for Cure Kids.

The line-up includes Ellie Chew, NZ's number one female rider, Hugh Wotherspoon, ranked 3rd in the NZ Dirt Series, Jono Hopping, one of the country’s leading top 'Street Riders' and Paul Langlands.

The programme is open to riders aged 8-14 years and is suitable for intermediate riders.

Registration in advance. Numbers are strictly limited.
