What's On! Events

Wairarapa hosts some amazing events for Cyclists! There's Cycling Races/Series, Mountain Biking and loads of family friendly events to suit everyone.  Check out the events below and see if there's something for you to get involved in!

ACM Club Race Nights
6pm Every Tuesday throughout summer starting October
Organised by Athletics Cycling Masterton (ACM).  
Spectators are welcome to check out the routes and take a look at these regular races.

Summer Biathlon Series
Every Thursday from 7th January 2021
Organised by Wairarapa Multi-sports Club. Take part either as an individual or a team. 5km run followed by a 20km road cycle. Meet at 5.45pm at Men’s Shed, Henley Lake, Masterton. ​

Martinborough Skyline Challenge & Family Day
Saturday 24th April

The Martinborough Skyline Challenge returns on Sat. 24 April 2021
Set on private farmland on the historic Huangarua, Puruatanga and Oystershell farms, this family-friendly event is designed to give riders of varying abilities a chance to experience mountain bike riding around the Martinborough countryside.
There are 4 course distances to choose from, with diverse terrain and varying levels of difficulty.
32km ride: This grade 3 ride is perfect for those looking for a mountain bike challenge
16km ride, run, walk: This demanding and quite hilly course is great for intermediate level riders
8km ride, run walk: This family-friendly ride is ideal for getting out with the kids in the countryside, or as a personal challenge for a less experienced rider
3km ride, run, walk, stroll: This family-friendly ride is ideal for families with kids 8 years and under over fairly flat terrain. Ideal for getting out with younger kids in the countryside.
